6.05 p.m. Bath-Binegar


The 6.05 pm (Saturday’s excepted) Bath – Binegar, ran as an all stations train returning from Binegar at 7.10pm. The motive power was typically tanxk engines. Passenger loadings leaving Bath were normally around 25, most of whom allighted at Wellow, Shoscombe and Radstock. On the return journey passengers were, to say the least, sparse. Water was taken at Chilcompton on the return from Binegar.

A few duties were covered by LMS two-coach non-corridor C+BT sets. One was the evening working between Bath and Binegar, for commuters and shoppers. The same set was presumably used for the 10.25pm Bath-Templecombe which returned the next morning as part of the 7.00am departure from Templecombe.
