Greenville & Northern Railway 50 ft 6 in boxcar No. 8026 is photographed at Calumet City, Illinois, on 21 May 1977. Built new by American Car & Foundry in November 1976 as part of the GRN 8000–8049 series, the Plate C boxcar is fitted for cushioned service and carries the railroad’s striking dark green livery with bold white lettering and the distinctive GRN logo.
