Prime Mover of Maine Industry.  In the mid-1960s, repainting and upgrading 40-foot cars was in full swing, with the introduction of the “Prime Mover of Maine Industry” slogan applied to some but not all cars. Alternately, some cars were painted with the block MEC on one end and the rectangular herald on the other. The painting plan was to do every fourth car in yellow.
